I had to go to the ER Friday

What caused it?

This Friday I was in the kitchen preparing my pre-workout meal (and probably thinking of how to get more monthly supporters) when I noticed some garden-picked spinach on the counter and asked my mother if it was clean.

I asked “how do you clean this properly?'' she replied, “I usually used lemon and water but most people just used water.”

I went back to the kitchen and cleaned it.

There was this green fuzzy plant in the pot but I thought “I’m keeping that in there.

It's probably good for you. I put it in the blender, drank about 8 oz and noticed it was sour.

I threw it out, thought nothing of it and headed to the gym.

The Worst Part!

Halfway through the workout, I noticed that I was feeling nauseous. A few moments later I threw up. It hurt so bad I ended the workout and started driving home.

Or so I thought...

Needless to say, I threw up 3 more times in the middle of traffic and my brother had to send his friend to come to pick me up to take me to the ER.

Each time it felt like I was going to choke on the food I spit up and it flat out hurt.

…

I threw up again.

I made it to the hospital and after throwing up 3 more times and refusing to take Zofran 3 times I gave in.

It stopped immediately.

There are a few symptoms left but I was literally in the gym this morning which means I’m doing well.

Become A Monthly Supporter:

Winter is coming and though I appreciate every single contribution thus far to hold me over for the season my goal is 150 monthly supporters. I'm proud to announce that I am already at 3 monthly supporters since launching last week but I’ll need more to sustain.

This will go towards:

  • Production cost

  • Lawyer Fees

  • Website Maintenance

  • Merchandise Cost & More
