Some thoughts on spirituality

For those of you who are new here, you should know that I’m very much into spirituality. In fact, my music is rooted in a spiritual space so much so that the “Conscious” in “Conscious Trap Music” withholds only spiritual meaning. I enjoy following Dr. Wayne Dyer/Eckart Tolle’s teachings closely.

Moving Forward, I wanted to talk to you about your views and thoughts on church/religion. I was raised in a church. Not only that my mother had my siblings and in a private religious school for the first four grades of my education.

Fast forward a few years I was reading Corey Wayne's Article 38 ways to improve your emotional health. In it, he mentioned Dr.Wayne Dyer’s “Meditation For Manifestations”, a guided meditation. After several weeks of participating in that meditation, one day I completed my meditations and got up and noticed a huge difference. It sounds redundant because he mentioned this would happen, but my identification with the material world changed. I felt clearer, more centered, and more focused. Later that day I noticed I was kinder than usual. I held eye contact longer and felt empathy for those I came into contact with. This is how/why I’m certain about the source's presence.

¼ of the way through the meditation Dr.Wayne has these affirmations he begins to vocalize here’s one: “Have the quality of selfless service unaffected by results, similar to that of the sun which serves the world by shining on all of creation, on the grass in the field, on the birds in the air, on the beasts in the forest, on all mankind with its sinner and its saint, it's rich and its poor, unconscious of their attitude towards it, then you will win God”. Needless to say, I think that's where kindness came from that day.

Ever since then I’ve been trying to find a way to get in that state and remain in that state for the remainder of my time in the physical realm while achieving the goals I set for myself. It’s a huge challenge but that’s where I spiritually am. Where are you spiritually? What are your thoughts on church and religion?
